I'm a Dreamer :)

So I'm not gonna lie...I have basically already designed our bedroom for when we get married. As you know I'm a dreamer and I have already dreamed this up so here it is :)



Oh, and also one of these for our entry way...a cubbie for each of our kids :)

Hi Lex!

I hope you had a good time this weekend in Orlando even though you’re just a babbyy ;). Just kidding…but I really hope you liked T-Swizzle, she was awesome! You, me, and the 15,000 screaming 13 year old girls had a blast! And, did I tell you I got some sweet sunnies out of the deal? I can’t believe that next week I’ll have already been in Atlanta for a month, but that means that you’re almost done with Gainesville for the summer!! Woo hoo! I know you have been miserable in Gainesville, but you have been so strong, and I cannot be prouder of the work that you’ve put in this summer. I know I wouldn’t have been able to tack on an additional 6 weeks of school after last semester, and I know you had a tough year too. But hey, now I can buy you a beer for your stress!

I’m kinda sad I don’t get to see you for awhile, but I hope we can at least skype so I can see your pretty face! I’m excited for you to come up here, because I think you’ll really like Atlanta…there’s so much to do! Not to mention, Atlanta is the closest city to you that you can become a Real Housewife in (other than Miami, but come on…you couldn’t deal with all the foreign people lol).

I won’t see you for about a month, and my goal is to lose 10 lbs by the next time I see you. I am going to try really hard to make that happen! And you WILL reward me woman, lol. Time for me to work hard, because I know you are always working hard. I want to make you proud :)

You’ve only got 6 days left of school! Work hard, rock it, and be done with MATH forever!! I miss you, and can’t wait to hear your voice!

Memorial Day

Lex,

Today is Memorial Day and I feel like it gives my job at Lockheed a sense of purpose. It’s unbelievable to me that while you and I are watching a movie, or cooking dinner, there are kids our age who are over in the Middle East fighting for our freedom. It makes me appreciate our time together so much more…and it also puts things into perspective. No matter what we go through in our lives, anything negative is really minimal in the grand scheme of things.

We’re so lucky to have each other and to always live our lives together. Think about it…how many people met their ONE (of ten thousand, haha) as early as we did? We literally get to spend our whole lives together, starting from age 14. That makes me happy. I will never have to search or “find myself,” or figure my life out, because I already have you! You are my life, and you always will be.

So today is day three of work for you and day seven of school for me. I'm constantly feeling sorry for myself that I cannot be with you or with my family during the week but then I remember that you even more alone than I am (not to point it out) and you haven't complained once. I have often wondered where you get your strength from...strength that I do not see in myself. I think God probably made you stronger than the average human to make up for my lack of strength...another reason why we are perfect for each other!  


Thinking about visiting you in Atlanta makes me super excited so I have started to make a list of possible things to do while together...

I'm currently at home by the way and eating a salad. I came up with this genius idea to put pickles in it. Check it out, its amazing. By the way when we go to restaurants from now on you need to stop asking for your food without the pickles because I want them! :) 

The best thing happened today, I was walking to Rawlings to catch the bus and a 35 pulled up just like it had been waiting for me :) Oh, and I saw this today and it made me smile so you should watch it as well. I love you and I hope that your day has been as amazing as you are.

An empty chair...

When I think about my time with you this past year, I can’t even begin to describe the overwhelming feeling of completeness I get from just being with you. I have been dying to get an internship with Lockheed since I can remember, and I am very much looking forward to it. But, I have only been here a few days and I know that while this might be a great jumpstart to my career, the only reason I am doing any of this is to provide for a life for you and me. I am alone here, and you are alone in Gainesville. I hate staring at that empty chair across from me at dinner, watching everyone else interact with their friends and family. You are my best friend, and you are my family.

I can’t wait to see you in a few weeks and hold you in my arms. You are my everything and my motivation for doing everything that I do. No matter how far apart we are, and no matter how annoying it is to talk on the phone, I want you to know that I have never felt closer to anyone in my entire life than I am to you right now.
